Martha Peak Helman Rotary Foundation Trustee 2022-26 |
Bio
Marty Helman spent her career as a writer for business executives and as a magazine editor at McGraw-Hill and the American Management Association. Later, she served as president of the Otto and Fran Walter Foundation, a nonprofit that has helped build schools in developing nations, provided scholarships for at-risk youth, and supplied humanitarian aid to Holocaust survivors, among other initiatives. The Walter Foundation partnered with The Rotary Foundation to fund the Rotary Peace Center at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, which opened in 2025.
Helman and her late spouse, Frank, joined the Rotary Club of Boothbay Harbor in 2003. She has served Rotary as chair of the Peace Major Gifts Initiative and as a member of the working group that selected the site for the Rotary Peace Center at Bahçeşehir University.
A keen fundraiser for The Rotary Foundation, Helman initiated an effort to support the Sakuji Tanaka Rotary Peace Fellowship, which raised $1 million for the Rotary Peace Centers.
Helman is an Arch Klumph Society member, and she chooses to support Rotary as a member of the Paul Harris Society and PolioPlus Society. She and Frank were charter members of the Legacy Society of The Rotary Foundation.

Cindie Kish Rotary Membership Coordinator 2024-27 |
Bio
Cindie Kish currently serves as the Zone 32 Rotary Membership Coordinator for 2024–2027 and as the Zone 32 International Assembly Learning Facilitator for 2025–2026. She is also the Immediate Past Chair of the Mid-Northeast Multi-District PELS for 2024–2025.
Cindie has held a wide range of leadership positions within Rotary at the district, zone, and international levels. Her experience includes serving as a Zone 32 Assistant Rotary Coordinator; Zone 32 GNETS Learning Leader; Zones 28 & 32 Rotary International Chair for Beyond Borders in Melbourne, Australia, and Singapore; Curriculum Chair for MNE PELS; and Zone 32 District Membership Chair Learning Leader for The Action Zone in Toronto and Better Together in Winnipeg. She has also served as a Rotary International President’s Representative.
Within District 7210, Cindie serves on the Executive Board—an initiative she helped establish—and has previously served as COL Representative, District Finance Chair, Director of Youth Programs, Assistant Governor, District Conference Chair, Membership Committee Member, District Trainer, and as District Governor in 2019–2020.
A dedicated Rotarian of more than 20 years, Cindie is a proud member of the Millbrook Rotary Club, where she has held numerous roles, including Club President (2012–2013). She is a Major Donor and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
Beyond Rotary, Cindie is a past President and Board Member of the Millbrook Business Association and a past Board Member of Canine Link. She is the co-founder and manager of Hunt & Harvest, a full-service catering company, and Hunt & Harvest Provisions, specializing in curated grocery and prepared meal offerings.

Bio
Kat Koppett is the Eponymous Founder of Koppett. a consultancy specializing in the use of improv and storytelling techniques to enhance individual and group performance, and the co-director of the Mopco Improv Theatre. She is the author of Training to Imagine: Practical Improvisational Theatre Techniques to Enhance Creativity, Teamwork, Leadership and Learning, and the co-author of The Facilitation Advantage with Therese Miclot. Her diverse client list includes Apple, Prezi, PwC, NASA, Global Giving, the U.N. In 2019, she received the Capital Region Chamber’s Women @ Work Women of Excellence and NASAGA’s Ifill-Raynolds Lifetime Achievement Award.

Amy Sheller Zone 32 Rotary Public Image Coordinator 2025-2028 |
Bio
Amy Sheller serves as the Zone 32 Rotary Public Image Coordinator 2025-2028, supporting Districts and Clubs across the Northeast in sharing their stories and elevating Rotary’s public image. A two-term past president of the Kutztown Rotary Club, she has also served as Assistant Governor and District Public Image Chair in District 7430, where she helped lead public image initiatives and strengthen community outreach.
Outside of Rotary, Amy is a filmmaker and co-owner of Abominable Productions, a video production company specializing in cinematic storytelling. Her work has been featured in regional magazines and national blogs, and she has earned recognition in international film competitions. What drives her most is helping people tell stories that feel authentic, creative, and impactful.
Amy also manages digital marketing for events such as Kutztown Rotary’s Taste of Kutztown and advocates for members to share their Rotary Story. She believes that when we share Rotary’s impact through photos, videos, stories, and everyday moments, we invite others to be part of something bigger.
